1. Indians Shining
India’s economy has been expanding at an unparalleled rate over the past 10 years, creating a fast-growing, middle-class elite that's highly qualified and highly mobile. Mukti Jain Campion discovers why so many such Indians have been reaching the very top levels in multinational companies and as global entrepreneurs - and changing the image of India in the process.
2. Uniquely Indian?
India has the largest number of illiterate people on the planet, yet it also produces some of the most numerate and highly sought-after graduates in the world. Mukti Jain Campion visits the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur during recruitment week to see why so many multinational companies come here to compete for their students. Is there anything uniquely Indian about their success in the global marketplace?
3. Payback
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh described it as India’s brain gain. An increasing number of wealthy professional expatriate Indians are returning to India to start businesses or run philanthropic projects. Mukti Jain Campion goes to Bangalore to discover why the return flow has become so big and what impact these global Indians are making on their mother country.
